During late October 2022, James enquired via a previous P4 Solar customer referral. Consequently, James desired to beat the energy crisis via utilising his property’s full potential by maximising his roof with as many solar panels as he could fit on. Additionally, to further enhance his energy savings, he opted for a 6.4KWh battery storage solution; enabling his surplus solar energy to be stored and used at a later time whilst having the ability download cheap rate energy at off-peak hours within the winter.

Nonetheless, once starting the installation, severe problems with his roof was discovered and as a result, James’ roof wasn’t in a fit state to not only have panels on but to serve a roofs purpose. Therefore, the P4 Solar team underwent a full reroof of the property, enabling the solar to be safely fitted and make his roof fit for purpose. Consequently, James now has a fully functioning 5.67KW solar system which has been exceeding his expectations within the winter months. Already he has enquired about installing additional batteries due to the amount of solar he has been yielding to maximise future energy savings. Moreover, thanks to James’ installation, Ewen (the previous customer referral) was granted £150 via P4 Solar’s refer a friend scheme.
